LOCATION: County Wide TYPE OF WORK: Centerline & Shoulder Rumble Strips Major Items: 2232.603/00235 MILLED SINUSOIDAL RUMBLE STRIPS-CL L F 2582.503/40404 4" DOUBLE SOLID LINE MULTICOMPONENT GROUND IN (WR) L F Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations. Bids must be accompanied by a corporate surety bond made in favor of Olmsted County or a certified check made payable to the Olmsted County Treasurer for 5% of the amount of the bid. Upon execution of the Contract, certified checks or bid bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders within 30 days of the opening of the bids. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond. Project related inquiries will only be addressed online at the above website. Instructions for posting questions and receiving answers are available at the same website. The Engineer will answer questions within 2 business days. Every attempt will be made to answer posted questions, although no answers will be provided to questions posted after 2:00 pm on the day prior to bid opening. Olmsted County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities thereof.
