The project will include the following described construction: The furnishing, installing of approximately 4,345 linear feet of 18-inch, PS 115 PVC gravity sewer, approximately 1,025 linear feet of 12-inch diameter cured-in-place lining, 430 linear feet of 8-inch cured-inplace lining, 770 linear feet of 18-inch DR 17 HDPE sewer installed by pipe bursting, approximately 170 linear feet of 18-inch PS 115 PVC gravity sewer in 30" steel casing pipe by bore under roadway, 4-foot diameter manholes, manhole rehabilitation, 4 or 6" epoxied-on-saddles, point repairs, composite watertight frames and covers, fill and abandon existing manholes, bypass pumping, and appurtenances including, connections, detection tape, tracer wire, backfill, tie-ins, restoration, pavement restoration, soil erosion control measures, traffic control, working in State Highway and City Street rights-of-way, and all other appurtenances and other work as shown on the Construction Drawings or indicated in the Contract Specifications. This project is being funded by Local Fiscal Recovery Funds and all bidders shall review and comply within the program requirements including equal opportunity employment and the Davis Bacon Act. The City of Lexington, Tennessee reserves the right to reject any proposal for failure to comply with all requirements of the notice or of any of the Contract Documents; however, it may waive any minor defects or informalities at its discretion. The City of Lexington, Tennessee further reserves the right to reject all proposals.
