Ceiling Replacement Scope (Both Schools: Cochrane High School & George McDougall High School) .1 Green Highlighted Areas of attached drawing: Replace all ceiling tiles. .2 Blue Highlighted Areas of attached drawing: Replace all ceiling tiles and grid. .3 Existing M6 wall molding may be reused in new grid sections. .4 Old hangers can be reused for new grids; any unused hanger wires must be removed. .5 Reinstall all ventilation diffusers into ceilings. .6 Ceiling tiles must be CGC Radar Basic 2310 or an equivalent matching pattern. .7 For quoting purposes for Cochrane High, use the following measurements: 1,525.7 Square Meters of Replacement of Ceiling Tiles and Grid 1,910.0 Square Meters of Replacement Ceiling Tiles Only .8 For quoting purposes for George McDougall High, use the following measurements: 2,753.46 Square Meters of Replacement of Ceiling Tiles and Grid 759.6 Square Meters of Replacement Ceiling Tiles Only LED Lighting Replacement Scope (Both Schools: Cochrane High School & McDougall High School) .1 Replace fixtures with the same size fixtures unless otherwise stated. Follow the RVS-supplied list of fixture types and quantities per room. .2 Maintain existing switching unless otherwise specified. .3 Flush-mounted fixtures in drywall to be retrofitted with electronic ballast and LED tubes. Touch-up paint and install a new lens if the new fixture does not fit in the drywall trim. .4 LED troffer fixtures must be wattage and color adjustable, set to 4000K (middle wattage). .5 Assume 120 volts unless otherwise stated. .6 Wall-mounted fixtures (68) in high-ceiling hallways to be retrofitted with electronic ballasts and LED tubes (2 per fixture). .7 No dimming to be added unless otherwise specified. .8 Troughers and strip fixtures must be hung. .9 Reinstall to code all ceiling-mounted devices, including: Speakers Fire alarm devices Motion sensors Vents/grills Remote heads .10 Emergency lighting systems and exit lights will not be replaced. .11 Fixtures with a 10-year warranty are preferred. .12 Fixtures from recognized brands such as Lithonia, Sylvania, Lutron, Cooper, or equivalent/better are preferred. .13 Any unused lighting whips must be removed. .14 If the fixture counts change in a room, the layout must be approved by RVS staff.
