the Dry Fork Waterline and Pump Station Upgrades, Contract II for the Buchanan County Public Service Authority, which consists of replacement of the 100W PRV Vault including but not limited to vault with 2 - 12 inch PRVs, 1 - 4 inch PRV, and 1 - 6 inch relief valve and SCADA systems, rehabilitation of the Dry fork PRV vault including but not limited to 1 - 12 inch PRV, 1 - 4 inch PRV, and 1 - 8 inch relief valve, electrical upgrades to the Dry Fork No. 1 pump station including but not limited to an 80KW portable generator and manual transfer switch, upgrades to the Dry Fork No. 2 pump station including but not limited to three (3) hydropneumatics tanks, new variable frequency drive starters, a 20KW portable generator and a manual transfer switch, along with all related appurtenances . Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia ( 2.2-4330). Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. *The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids if it appears in its best interest to do so. Question Deadline 04/21/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
