The City of Lago Vista invites participation in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for experienced and qualified firms or individuals to conduct the designing, permitting, bidding, and construction management of a water treatment plant upgrade. The firm/individual/s will be tasked with increasing the capacity of the existing plant from 2.0 million gallons per day (MGD) to 6.0 MGD. Upgrading the high service pump station for the increased capacity of the water plant. The selected firm will be responsible for engineering design, obtaining necessary permits from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), bidding the project, and construction management. Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing water treatment plant and identify necessary upgrades to increase capacity to 6.0 MGD and the high service pump station. 2. Develop detailed engineering design plans and specifications for the plant upgrade, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. 3. Prepare and submit permit applications to the TCEQ for the proposed upgrades, including any required environmental assessments and impact studies. 4. Provide support during the permitting process, including responding to requests for additional information and addressing any concerns raised by regulatory agencies. 5. Coordinate with city officials, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies throughout the design and permitting process to ensure project objectives are met. 6. Provide all documents necessary to bid the project and assist City personnel with evaluating each prospective bidder. 7. Provide comprehensive construction administration and construction management services.
