The Project is generally described as demolition of the existing Switchboard, demolition of reduced voltage solid state starters (RVSS), as well as the installation of new Reduced Voltage Soft Starters (RVSS), outdoor pad modifications (as required), installation of new main service switchboard and distribution section, and select cabling (per contract drawings); and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. B. The existing control panel for remote control and communications is also to be demolished and replaced with a new control panel that includes pump station control logic, monitoring and communication equipment. The Work includes labor, material and equipment, services required for construction, testing, and commissioning of the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents and as more specifically described in the Specifications and Drawings and includes, but is not limited to, the following principal features. 1. Demolition a. Existing Exterior NEMA 3R Switchboard at Valencia Recycled Water Pump Station, including lighting panelboard and pump motor RVSS enclosures and their internal components. b. Selective demolition to separate existing SCADA Cabinet from Existing switchboard. c. Selective Switchboard pad demolition as shown on contract drawings. 2. New Work a. Selective Switchboard pad Modifications (as shown on the contract drawings). b. New incoming Utility Service Switchboard and RVSS units. c. New cabling where necessary (as shown on contract drawings). d. New cabling as needed for existing pump motors and new RVSS units. e. Installation of new mini power system to provide 120V/240V power to existing devices. f.
