A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The City of Grand Haven is requesting Bids for construction of the Sluka Field Renovations Project. The project is located at 1521 Waverly Avenue, Grand Haven, MI 49417. The Project includes specific site demolition, construction of 2 masonry dugouts, new accessible paved parking / concrete sidewalks access, underground storm drainage, fencing, bleachers, and associated site furnishings. Land and Water Conservation Fund grant funding is being used for the project and all relevant State and Federal requirements apply. The Contractor and all Sub-Contractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), Executive Directive 2019-09, as amended. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis No preference will be given to local vendors or contractors. Award of the contract will adhere to all applicable State and Federal purchasing requirements. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Grand Haven will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER.
