Chandler Park in Downtown Chandler and funding athletic field improvements and additional rehabilitations in existing parks. Enhancing street repaving to improve pavement quality, reconstructing the intersection of Ray and Dobson roads and widening sections of Lindsay and Alma School roads in south Chandler. Chicago St., regarding the final adoption of the fiscal year 2025-2026 Budget and 2026-2035 Capital Improvement Program. The proposed budget includes $783.2 million for operations and $845.7 million for capital improvements. During its May 22 meeting, the Chandler City Council voted to tentatively adopt of the 2025-26 Budget and 2026-2035 Capital Improvement Program, establishing June 12 as the public hearing date for the final adoption of the budget. -------------------- This contract shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, transportation and services for the construction and/or installation of the following work: The Ray Road Improvements consist of constructing a new six (6) lane roadway section from Ellsworth Road to Hawes Road. The improvements include new pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalks, pavement markings, signage, storm drain, ITS, and street lighting. New traffic signal improvements will take place at two (2) locations along Ray Road. Additionally, improvements to the Citys Pressure Reducing Valve No.35 site will take place as part of the Ray Road Improvements The Engineers Estimate range is $13,000,000 to $15,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work shall be completed within 420 consecutive calendar days, beginning with the day following the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted on the Proposal Form provided and be accompanied by the Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to the City of Mesa, Arizona, or a certified or cashiers check. The successful bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the Contract, will be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, and the most recent ACORD Certificate of Liability Insurance form with additional insured endorsements. The right is hereby reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereto, to waive any informalities in any proposal and reject the bids of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful to any contract with the City of Mesa.
