Upgrades and renovation of the StaPRE (Water Resource Recovery Station) La Pinière. Among the main objectives of this project are increasing treatment capacity, recovering 100% of the sludge produced, and reducing the environmental footprint. The project also aims to ensure the sustainability and adaptability of the facilities, in response to the growth of the region and future regulatory requirements for the liquid waste sector, which will be addressed in a separate project. The owner expects to carry out the project using the design/build method. Project value may be as high as $50M. TIMELINE: Based on the a functional and technical program for the StaRRE La Pinière solid handling facility upgrade project submitted by the awarded master team of professional consultants the owner has issued a qualification notice for potential design/builders that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name RFP D/B - Design-build Delivery of the Project to Upgrade the Solid Waste Stream at the Starre La Pinière Facility. No construction will immediately follow this report. Coverage of this report has been discontinued.
