A written or graphic instrument issued by County prior to the execution of the Agreement which modifies or interprets the Request for Qualifications by additions, deletions, clarifications, corrections or other type of modifications. Addenda will become part of the Contract Documents when the Agreement is executed. A written notice submitted by County notifying the Successful Respondent that they have been awarded the project. verbal or written notice submitted by County notifying the Successful Respondent that County intends to award the project to them contingent upon the Successful Respondent executing the Agreement and submitting any outstanding documents. Question Deadline- 04/21/2025 at 4:00 PM ET- All Respondents shall carefully examine the RFQ documents. Any ambiguities or inconsistencies shall be brought to the attention of the County prior to the due date; failure to do so, on the part of the Respondent, will constitute an acceptance by the Respondent of any subsequent decision. County is required to use FDOT's DBE program on contracts with FHWA funds. The FDOT, DBE aspirational goal is 10.65% and is race neutral, meaning that FDOT believes the aspirational goal may be obtained through ordinary procurement methods. Despite the absence of a contract specific DBE goal on this contract, County encourages Respondents to seek out and use DBEs and other small businesses. For assistance in identifying certified DBEs, FDOT offers the use of its supportive services program accessed via FDOT Equal Opportunity Office at online. In accordance with Florida Statute 287.055 Acquisition of professional architectural, engineering, landscape architectural, or surveying and mapping services; definitions; procedures; contingent fees prohibited; penalties; Section 2. (d): if a proposing Firm is a certified minority business enterprise as defined by the Florida Small and Minority Business Assistance Act, and the Firm submits proof of a valid certification from the Florida Department of Management Services Office of Supplier Diversity, this Firm will receive two point five (2.5) points for this criterion. The submitted certification will be validated using the Certified Vendor Directory from the Office of Supplier Diversity website at online. Protest Bond. Each formal protest must be accompanied by a protest bond in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or money order made payable to Citrus County, Florida, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the protester's Response submitted to County. If the protester prevails, the bond shall be returned to the protester. However, if after completion of the Solicitation Protest Procedures County denies the protest, the bond shall be forfeited to County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. County reserves the right to finalize the negotiations at any point and reserves the right to award based on what is deemed to be in the best interest of County. If negotiations fail then the County reserves the right to utilize the next most qualified Respondent.
