he improvement includes removal of existing Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement and surfacing materials by milling/scarifying to an average depth of three (3) inches, prepare subgrade/subbase, reconstruct pavements with three (3) inches of HMA pavement in one (1) lift, storm sewer, storm intake, and beam curb, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 674-071/082, located at the Masonic Cemetery west of the intersection of College Avenue and 48th Street in Des Moines, Iowa. The work comprising the above referenced project shall be constructed in accordance with the SUDAS Standard Specifications, 2025 Edition; and as further modified by the supplemental specifications and special provisions included in the contract documents. The Des Moines City Engineer is the Engineer. The terms used in the contract documents are defined in said SUDAS Standard Specifications. The City of Des Moines is the Contracting Authority on this project and shall hereinafter be referred to as the "Jurisdiction". Before submitting your bid, please review the SUDAS Standard Specifications, in particular, Division 1 - General Provisions and Covenants, including the sections regarding proposal requirements, bonding, contract execution and insurance requirements.
