Renovation of a municipal facility in Belfair, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and permits to perform attic and crawlspace work at the Department's Theler Wetlands Trail, located at 22803 WA-3, Belfair, Washington 98528, GPS Coordinates 47.43808, -122.83624, in Kitsap County. If the project is estimated at or above one million dollars, a mandatory 15 percent Apprentice labor hours of the total labor hours are a requirement of this contract. The Apprenticeship Utilization Requirements are identified in Section 00100 Instructions To Bidder. Bidders may contact the Department of Labor & Industries, Apprenticeship Programs. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises (MWBE) are encouraged to participate in the bidding as prime contractors, subcontractors, or suppliers. Bid Guarantee: For bids of $35,000 or less, no bid guarantee is required. Bids greater than $35,000 shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife in an amount equal to at least five-percent of the bid as evidence of good faith and as a guarantee that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder will execute the Contract and give separate bond as required. A. Base bids greater than $150,000; Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractor's Surety. B. Base bids $150,000 or less, Contractor shall provide separate Payment and Performance Bonds, each executed by Contractor and Contractor's Surety, unless the Contractor agrees Owner may, in lieu of the bond(s), retain 10 percent of the Contract Sum for the period allowed by RCW 39.08.010
