Project Strategic Alignment This project consists of replacement of the platform safety line and stenciling (approximately 690') at Edmonds, WA (EDM) Station to enhance Amtrak's assets, provide positive customer service and experience, and improve safety and security for customers and Amtrak employees. Scope Summary The scope of work for this project consists of: Preparation Pressure wash and prepare asphalt surface for application of new platform safety line. Fill/Patch cracks as needed. See Appendix A for Existing Conditions. Application Install new platform safety line and stenciling (approximately 690') in accordance with Amtrak standards and manufacturer instructions. See Appendix B for Paint and Text Specifications. Flagging Flagging will be needed for this project. o Please indicate in the bid, the number of days of flagging needed to complete the track work in this project. NOTES: Contractor responsible for all measurements. The contractor shall stage their work so as to maintain the normal train operations and existing access for passenger movement for boarding and departing the trains and the existing access to adjacent parking facilities.
