The scope of work for Contract No. 25-R01 includes approximately 3,500square yards of roadway milling and profiling, Superpave WMA binder, scratch and wearing course; base repair; keyway milling;bituminous wedge and concrete curb; structure adjustments to grade; traffic control; lawn restoration; pavement base drainage;additional alternates for additional resurfacing; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction on variousBorough roadways. A . Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply.Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in theamount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract ifgiven the award. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Nobid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the factthat procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3”; and forContract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public WorksEmployment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. The Borough shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsiblebidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that theBorough may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid openingdate until the Borough has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies.
