The Town of Bluffton is soliciting competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified Offerors to provide surface improvements, pier construction, and bridge reconstruction on the New River Trail between the New River and Sun City Hilton Head. Question Deadline 04/10/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Online The general scope of services includes the following: 1. Surface improvements of a 10' wide asphalt path along the existing 3.2 mile New River Trail between the New River and Sun City Hilton Head. 2. Surface improvement of a 10' wide (asphalt/concrete) surface between the trailhead parking lot and the main trail. 3. Clearing of all debris and recent tree topping for the length of the trail. 4. Tree removal. 5. Reconstruction of three bridges. 6. Construction of a covered pier and landing. 7. Reconstruction and relocation of covered benches and interpretive signage. 8. Cleaning and painting of Highway 170 underpass. 9. Reconstruction of curb, sidewalk and bollards at trail intersection with the Heritage neighborhood. 10. Connection of Four Seasons boardwalk to trail.
