The work to be performed shall be accomplished in one (1) Division of work and shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the installation of water system improvements as described below: Installation of approximately 850 linear feet of 2" PVC CL. 200 water line Residential service reconnections Associated pavement repairs The installation, maintenance, and removal of erosion facilities Other associated appurtenances for a complete and proper installation Bidders must deposit security with all bids. Security shall be in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner and shall be for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. Provisions of the security shall be as described in the Instructions for Bidders. Bid Withdrawal: No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Owner's Rights: The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. All bidders must order Plans and Specifications directly from Summit Engineering Group Inc. In order to bid on the project you must be added the Plan Holders list to ensure all addendums are received. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
