Roof Repair Location-1050 Forest Hill Road, Staten Island, NY 10314 Please note, vendors must remain for the mandatory site visit in its entirety in order to ask questions regarding the specifications of this project. Leaving the site visit early will cause you to be ineligible to submit a quote. (within two business days of the site visit: April 14, 2025). In the event modifications are made to the project scope of work, the modifications will be sent in email to all in attendance Any vendor questions not asked during the site visit must be submitted in writing to: Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov Both questions and answers (if any) will be provided to all who attend the site visit via email by: April 17, 2025. Failure to do so will cause you to be ineligible to submit a quote. There are no exceptions. Please write clearly for corresponding purposes and make sure you include an email address and phone number where you can be reached. Late arrivers at the site visit may not be allowed to submit a quote for this project. If you are unable to attend, you will not be allowed to schedule a site visit at a later time. Question Deadline 04/17/2025 Any vendor questions not asked during the site visit must be submitted in writing to: Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov Both questions and answers (if any) will be provided to all who attend the site visit via email Recoat/Repair entire roofing membrane for approximate 9000 square feet. This is a wood deck roof system torch down prohibited, and ACM is present by all machinery stations, dunnage, HVAC equipment. Structures, and protrusions. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. All Contractor permits to be supplied prior to initiation of Project. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of project, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Approximately 9000 Sq feet of roof. 1. Remove all water, debris, moss and leaves from upper and lower roofing prior to and work being performed. 2. Precoat (emulsified product) all areas of existing cracks, crevices, openings from deterioration prior to commencing with projected final layers. 3. Apply Karnaflex elastomeric flashing cement on all penetrations and roofing final layer. 4. Pitch pockets contain ACM material and cannot be disturbed. (they can be coated/encapsulated and made watertight) 5. Vent stack tar coating is considered ACM and cannot be disturbed. (they can be coated/encapsulated and made watertight) 6. Vent stack tar can be encapsulated and made watertight. 7. Clean up and removal of all debris to be done daily.
