Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Rome, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
As of June 13, 2025, the project was awarded to BP Excavation but the awarded amount is not available. Reference Number 0000382074 The project includes the replacement of three 36" diameter corrugated metal pipes with an aluminum box culvert that carries Link Road over Burk Creek in the City of Rome. The Aluminum Box Culvert will have dimensions of 23'-6" span and 8'-6" rise. No pre-bid conference will be held for this bid. Questions received in writing and orally during the meeting will be added to any official Addendum to be issued. Bids shall be accompanied by money order, certified check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price, payable to the City Treasurer, City of Rome, Rome New York. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Incomplete bids will be disqualified. *The City of Rome reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals deemed to be in its best interest.
