The work consists of various general roadway improvements including pavement planing and resurfacing, asphalt overlay, and/or chip sealing, full-depth and partial-depth pavement repairs, driveway replacement, and shoulder improvements of various City streets and parking lots. The entire scope of work is detailed in the Bid Documents. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each Bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed within 90 days after the date when the contract times commence. CONTRACTOR shall pay wages to each laborer and mechanic at a rate not less than the minimum wages specified in the current wage rate determination as published by the State of Ohio Department of Commerce. The City of Pataskala, Ohio, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the Bidder whom, in their opinion, offers the lowest responsive and responsible bid. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving Bids Question Deadline April 7, 2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing.
