Painting in the Spiva Library on MSSU's Campus Question Deadline 04/15/2025 at 12:00 PM CT Prior to award of the contract all questions and/or clarifications regarding this proposal should be submitted by email to Jennings-k@mssu.edu Request for Proposals Missouri Southern State University is seeking proposals for painting in the Spiva Library on MSSU's Campus Project Description: Painting two coats water-based enamel of walls and door frames in designated areas of 3 rd floor. Excludes offices and restrooms. See drawing A-3. Contractor is responsible for all needed equipment including but not limited to lifts, ladders and paint supplies for the project. Scope of Services: Preparation work: o Surface preparations for painting including any holes filled as needed. o Areas properly taped off as needed protecting any existing woodwork, laminates or doors. General/Installations: o Paint surfaces of all inner door frames in Gray Stone PPG o Paint all designated areas per drawing A-3, of walls, columns and designated ceiling areas in Gray Stone PPG or Photo Gray PPG. All areas must be with defined painted edge if needed between the two colors. Project close: o Area cleaned, final walk through and inspection. Provisions: o University will provide needed access to areas and designated clean up sink. Change orders: With any project there may be the need for changes in scope of work. All change orders must be made in writing and all costs submitted separately. Written approvals can be made in writing or through email. Project Administration: The Director of Facility Services shall be the University's representative on the project. The Director shall have the sole authority, after consultation with University's Officials, to approve any changes in the scope of the project specification or other matters relative to the project.
