This project is complete. As required by IC 5-30-6, the City of Elkhart, Indiana, through a Technical Review Committee appointed its Board of Public Works for this project, will receive Design-Build Qualification and Proposal Documents (D-B Proposals) for the following: STREET DEPARTMENTS.A.L.T. FACILITY Project Summary: This project includes the design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of a new building that is designed to contain up to 9000 tons of salt, sand, or other granular bulk materials, with the storage area divided into two sections. The capacity of each storage area section shall be based on an assumed angle of repose of 32 degrees and a maximum pile height of 25 feet. The building shall be enclosed on three sides(west, north, and south) and open on the fourth side (east). Any Design-Build Qualification and Proposal Documents received after the Deadline will be returned to the design-build contractor and/or team unopened. After the announcement of the Design-Build Qualification and Proposal Documents that have been received, the meeting will be adjourned, and the members of the Technical Review Committee will review the Design-Build Qualification and Proposal Documents and make a recommendation to the Board of Public Works.
