Reference Number 0000377189 Question Acceptance Deadline 04/10/2025 03:30 PM EDT Questions are submitted online No Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % Each submitted proposal must be accompanied by (a) a certified check in the sum of 5% of the amount of the bid, drawn upon a national or state bank or trust company, to the order of the Town of Colonie, New York, or (b) a bond with sufficient sureties in a penal sum equal to 5% of the bid, conditioned that if its bid is accepted, successful bidder will enter a contract for the same and that he will execute such further security as may be required for the performance of the contract. At the execution of the anticipated contract, the Successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance and labor and materials bond, and a payment bond equal to the full amount of the bid. The Town of Colonie reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids submitted. he opaque envelope shall be marked on the outside with the project title and name and address of the bidder. The submission shall consist of the completed pages of this document marked "TO BE SUBMITTED," and any other required documents. The submission shall also include, if required in the Notice to Bidders, the bid security. If the bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the notation "BID ENCLOSED" on the face thereof AND the outer envelope shall be marked on the outside with the project title and name and address of the bidder.
