Renovation of a library in Polkton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Leave existing insulation and EPDM membrane in place and cut the membrane loose at the perimeter walls. Mechanically attach a 1.5 inch isocyanurate insulation over the existing roof system Mechanically attach a 45 mil FiberTite membrane over the isocyanurate insulation and flash the parapet walls with 45 mil FiberTite membrane. Fiber Tite membrane shall be Standard Off White. The membrane shall terminate under the existing coping. All roof penetrations are to be flashed as approved by FiberTite. This roof system shall receive a twenty (20) year watertight warranty from FiberTite. All proposals shall provide per LF cost to provide walk pads. Contractor is responsible for all associated permits and fees. All trash and scrap material are to be removed by contractor. General Contractors must have general license classification for roofing. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of 30 days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Bids shall be made only on the BID/ACEPTANCE form provided herein with all blank spaces for bids properly filled in and all signatures properly executed.
