This project is a Construction Project to Replace Boiler Plant Water Main at the Perry Point VAMC, Perry Point, MD. The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision to perform work as described in the statement of work and as required by the contract drawings and specifications. This contract will prepare and paint the existing 500,000 gallon elevated domestic water storage tank, as well as make minor piping and system configuration improvements in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications attached hereto. The Contractor will be responsible to coordinate and schedule work to minimize to short duration and shall be expected to plan work typically during duty hours of 7 AM to 3:30 PM eastern time except as noted in the general conditions and as approved by the Contracting Officer. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220. Size standard: $45 million. Magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is an SDVOSB Set-Aside. All Contractors are required to be registered with www.sam.gov; SDVOSB's and VOSB's are required to be registered with https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. All statuses will be verified. A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday April 29th, 2025 at 11:00hrs EST. The meeting place will be in the parking lot of building 321 (Chiller Plant), Perry Point VAMC, Perry Point, MD 21902-1103. This will be the only site visit date for the project. Absolutely no other visits will be scheduled. No proposal extensions will be granted due to late RFI submissions. Scope of Work In the event that the primary source of domestic water to the Boiler Plant and Chiller Plant is required to be shut-off, a secondary water main is required to maintain a domestic water source. Provide all labor, supervision, travel, equipment, tools, materials, inspection/testing services, and legal disposal of waste materials to install a new water main to the Boiler Plant and Chiller Plant at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. Additionally, cap and abandon in-place the existing water main and backflow preventer within the Chiller Plant
