Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Waco, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,775-square-foot medical facility.
Scope of Services / Specifications The City of Waco is soliciting proposals for the construction of a new Animal Clinic at the City of Waco Animal Shelter site located at 2032 Circle Road, Waco. The 4,775 SF building includes 13 indoor/outdoor isolation kennel runs, X-ray room, large clinic space, animal recovery room, two surgery suites, cat and puppy isolation rooms, two single-use restrooms, small laundry room, three offices with an adjacent breakroom and locker area, lobby, and supporting spaces. Deadline to submit Questions Jul 11th 2025, 5:00 PM CDT Duration of Services The City of Waco anticipates this project will be complete and ready for use by Fall 2026. It is additionally anticipated that work will not be performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays unless specifically approved by City. If a Contractor wants to perform work on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays, the Contractor shall seek approval by making a written request to the City. The contractor shall be responsible for all City staff and third-party time, costs, expenses, and overtime for work performed on Saturdays, Sundays, or City holidays, unless excused in writing by the City prior to the work. The contractor shall include sufficient weather days as appropriate for the time of year and overall duration of the work within its proposal. Each submission must be accompanied by a certified check of the submitter, or a bid bond (PDF copy through Bonfire) executed by the submitter as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the City in the amount of 5% of the submission. The City of Waco reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. The issuance of this solicitation does not obligate the City to contract for expressed or implied services. The City of Waco will not reimburse proposers for any costs incurred during the preparation or submittal of responses to this solicitation.
