Site work for a water / sewer project in Decatur, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Planning work has started in the Florian and Lost Bridge North Basin inflow/infiltration reduction project with IEPA funding planning. The final design is expected to start in 2025 with construction to start after IEPA funding is secured. Overall costs for both projects are currently expected to be around $15 million. The project is included in the city's 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of April 22, 2025, project is funded for design in FY2025 and construction FY2027-2028. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
