Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Acme, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Soliciting statements of proposal from qualified consultants for providing professional engineering services for the analysis and design of Hudson Road Bridge Replacement Project, located in Whatcom County, as further described in the solicitation documents. The County affirms it will not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to any individual or group on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting. The County encourages disadvantaged, minority and women owned consultant firms to respond. This project is being funded with federal funding through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Please be advised that prospective consultants must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements regarding, debarment and suspension, affirmative action steps taken to assure use of small businesses and minority, veterans, and women owned businesses when possible if subcontracting, Equal Employment Opportunity, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and other laws listed in the attachments. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
