Site work for a water / sewer project in Saugus, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contractors are to responsible for the replacement of the entire manhole structure up to 10 feet in depth providing new frame and cover. Questions on the bid are due in by email to mwendell@saugus-ma.gov or in writing to Purchasing Department by 11:00 am on May 21, 2025. Questions concerning this solicitation must be delivered in writing to: Michele Wendell Procurement Director Saugus DPW Purchasing Department 515 Main Street Saugus, MA 01906 Or emailed to: mwendell@saugus-ma.gov Each bid must be accompanied by surety which is satisfactory to the Town and in the form of a cashier's, treasurer's, or certified check drawn on a responsible bank or trust company; or a bid bond issued by a company licensed to do business in Massachusetts in the amount of (5%) five percent of amount bid. All Wage Rates are to be paid in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid, or any portion of same, which is expedient and in the public interest. The Town of Saugus adheres to an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Program. Sealed Bids will be received at Purchasing Department at DPW, 515 Main Street, Saugus, Massachusetts until 11:00 A.M. on April 21, 2025, 2025 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
