The scope of work includes approximately 5,700 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, 2 1/2 Superpave WMA binder course and 1 1/2 Superpave WMA wearing course; concrete wedge curb and gutter spot replacement; base repair, structure adjustments; inlet repairs/replacements; linestriping; add alternates for additional roadway paving; traffic control and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Bridgeville to guarantee the bidders entrance into the contract if given the award. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
