Reference Number 0000382418 The City of Pontiac is hereby seeking qualified contractors to perform the demolition of single-family or multi-family homes deemed blighted and perhaps some commercial buildings. These structures pose safety concerns and contribute to urban decay in the community. The selected contractor must have the necessary certifications for asbestos remediation, as many of these homes were constructed prior to modern building codes. The work must be performed in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to demolition and environmental safety.
