OVERVIEW The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 is conducting market research to identify potential sources for BUILDING AUTOMATION SYSTEMS AND MECHANICAL SYSTEMS MAINTENANCE SERVICES supporting the Durham VA Medical Center, in Durham, North Carolina. The attached Performance Work Statement is a draft document and is subject to change prior to release of a solicitation. SCOPE OF WORK The anticipated scope of work is a service contract to have the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina Building Management System optimized and upgraded and maintained in a professional manner. The Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, materials, equipment, supervision, licenses and technical expertise necessary to provide maintenance and repair of Chillers and the Siemens insight Control System at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, North Carolina. The Contractor shall be able to update the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina with the most up to date proprietary Siemens Building Automation software and products. The Contractor must also be able to support and integrate to a redundant Building Management System comprised of non-vendor specific products that communicate via a native BACNET protocol. The existing Building Management System is primarily comprised of, but not limited to, Siemens Apogee software and Siemens products.
