**As of July 22, 2025 , the project was awarded to the following contractor: Grading, Asphalt and Concrete Paving- GUERRA CONSTRUCTION GROUP: $237,442.00 Fencing and Gates- AAA Fence Company, Inc.: $105,240.00 Irrigation and Landscaping- Scapes Inc: $196,119.00 Storm Drainage- MK Pipelines, Inc: $367,300.00 in total amount of $906.101.00** The Project is generally described as new play structures and related site improvements at Westwood Elementary School. The District intends to construct the Project by awarding contracts to prime contractors who are in direct privity of contract with the District for a specific scope of Work. Bid Proposals are requested for the following Bid Package (Contractors License requirement in parentheses): Bid Package 32.02 - Grading, Asphalt and Concrete Paving (A or C12) Bid Package 32.03 - Fencing and Gates (C13) Bid Package 32.05 - Irrigation and Landscaping (C27) Bid Package 33.03 - Storm Drainage (A or C34) Bid Security must accompany each Bid Proposal in an amount equalto ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of the Bid Proposal, inclusive of the proposed price for any additive Alternate Bid Item(s). Failure of any Bid Proposal to be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and in the amount required shall render such Bid Proposal to be non-responsive and rejected by the District. Bid Security must be submitted in one of the alternative means of Bid Security submittal described in the Instructions to Bidders. Payment Bond, Performance Bond. Prior to commencement of the Work, the Bidder awarded a Bid Package Contract must deliver to the District a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond issued by a California Admitted Surety in the form and content included in the Contract Documents in a penal sum equal to 100% of the Contract Price.
