This Request for Proposal (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Regional Municipality of Niagara ("Niagara Region") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for 2025-RFP-67 Smithville SPS & FM Upgrades Feasibility Study, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The purpose of this project is to conduct a feasibility study to determine the preferred solution for both the interim and post-2051 capacity at Smithville SPS. The study will include the following: 1. Review projected growth numbers, current dry weather and peak wet weather flows and confirm capacity requirements for both interim and post-2051. 2. Develop and evaluate SPS upgrade options for interim and post-2051 3. Determine preferred options for both, presented in a final technical report including drawings. 4. Develop a scope and phasing plan for implementation of each option. Niagara Region reserves the right to schedule additional mandatory site inspections.
