Fayette County Public Schools is seeking a contractor to provide pricing for all painting projects listed within this solicitation. Responses must be submitted via email, mail/parcel delivery, or hand delivery to the Fayette County Public Schools office located at Facilities Services and directed to Jamie Marrero, Purchasing Associate. Envelopes should be sealed and marked conspicuously on the front with the solicitation name and number above. Respondent Questions Due: Wednesday, April 16, 2025 Anticipated Project Start: June 1, 2025 The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposal is to secure firm pricing to provide; Sherwin Williams paint, materials, and labor to complete the painting projects, listed within this solicitation. Pre-Bid meeting/site visit is required to obtain the linear/square footage of these project spaces to provide accurate job cost. All listed projects will be completed using only the paint color provided in the specifications or to match the existing. Maps of the schools have been provided with the paint project areas highlighted. All projects must be completed to the satisfaction of Fayette County Public Schools. Common Areas, Hallways, Stairwells, Bathrooms, Classrooms, etc. Paint all walls in the main hallway corridors with DTM (Direct to Metal) Gloss Fayette County White Paint all walls in the restrooms in the with DTM Fayette County White Paint all walls in stairwells with DTM Fayette County White Paint all hollow metal door frames in the main halls that are currently painted with matched current school colors. Peeling paint, if any, must be sanded/ground off the wall/trim to provide a smooth surface for fresh paint. Building Exteriors- All exteriors must be pressure washed and properly prepared for painting. All exteriors will be painted to match the existing paint color of existing or the color of the surrounding buildings.
