Putnam County requests qualifications for preliminary architecture services, subsequent architecture design services, and construction inspection services, to assist in a proposed community facilities project to be partially financed with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)and USDA Rural Development funds. The remainder of the project is being financed by the Putnam County Senior Nutrition and Resource Center known as the P.C. Cafe and Resource Center (P.C. Café). The project consists of the construction of a new Senior Nutrition Site and Resource Center in the City of Unionville. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for preliminary architecture will be negotiated separately from the cost for architecture design. Contracting for these two activities shall occur separately and costs/payments associated with each will be clearly defined. Contracts executed for architecture design and construction inspection services shall be contingent upon the award of the grant and commitment of all project funds.The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost for preliminary architecture will be negotiated separately from the cost for architecture design.
