The State University Construction Fund is seeking statements of qualifications from firms to provide Construction Phase Construction Manager (CM) Agency Services for the Renovate Plant Science Building project at the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University. The Project will renovate the 1930 era, 172,556 GSF Plant Science Building at Cornell into state-of-the-art laboratories and support spaces. This is a phased, gut-renovation to bring the building up to code and meet Deep Energy Retrofit goals. The Project scope includes all new floor plan layouts, new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems, abatement of hazardous materials, window replacement, elevator upgrades, and measures to improve the thermal and energy performance of the building. Submissions should emphasize the firms significant past experience in providing construction phase CM services for public institutions and institutional clients in a complete and expeditious manner. Construction duration from the Notice to Proceed of the first construction contract to Substantial Completion of the last construction contract is approximately thirty-one (31) months; twenty-eight (28) month construction duration plus three (3) months of guarantee period.
