Reference Number 0000290740 The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Public Service Delivery, Asset Management Division, seeks to select a qualified Contractor to provide injection services (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) of approximately 130 Dutch Elm trees for Dutch Elm disease, on the Legislative grounds, Memorial Park and surrounding areas in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Province of Manitoba has conducted the Dutch Elm Disease Management Program since 1975. The aim of this program is to slow down, or where possible, stop the advances of Dutch Elm Disease (DED). Manitoba reserves the right to utilize the Services at alternate facilities under control of Manitoba at the same rates as submitted. The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to obtain Bids from qualified Contractors to provide the services described in this RFQ and for Manitoba to enter into an Agreement with the Bidder whose Bid is judged to best serve the interests of Manitoba when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria. The Agreement shall be for an initial term of three (3) years commencing upon Contract Award and expiring March 31, 2028. Manitoba is also seeking an option to extend the initial term of the Agreement, at Manitoba's discretion, for one (1) additional one (1) year term. Should Manitoba exercise the option to extend, this will be formalized in accordance with section E1.2.
