The NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets intends to procure Electrical Transformers Preventative Maintenance pursuant to its discretionary authority under State Finance Law Section 163 (6). All necessary quote documents have been attached to this posting. Provide preventative maintenance on the following transformers: 1-7A 1-7B 1-7D 1-7E 1-7F 1-7G 1-9A 1-9B 1-9C 1-9D 1-9E 1-9F Transformer Preventative Maintenance: o Check primary and secondary connections o Clean primary and secondary bushings o Check/test surge arresters, terminations o Check/test ground resistance Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through other than the "Designated Contact Person(s)" identified below may constitute an "impermissible contact" under state law with respect to Procurement Lobbying, and could result in disqualification of that vendor. The Village of Solvay Electric Department provides the Fairgrounds with its electrical power. Prevailing wage rates must be paid and are attached (PRC 2025003942). All employees must be certified to work on this type of work. Your quote will be for a flat rate for these services. This rate must include any/all vehicle and equipment (tools of the trade, bucket truck) charges, labor and supplies. No mileage, travel time, vehicle or equipment charges will be paid. This work must be completed no later than Friday, July 11, 2025. Contractors need to register before submitting any new bids or commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024. Subcontractors need to register before commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024. NYSDOL encourages all contractors and subcontractors to register as soon as possible to obtain a Certificate of Registration to avoid negatively impacting a bidding period or project schedule
