Bulk Rock Salt for Roadways . Question Deadline 04/15/2025 at 12:00 PM CT All questions related to this Invitation to bid (ITB) shall be submitted in writing through electronically. Base Bid First term is October 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026. Anticipated Award Date: May 27, 2025 Add Alternate #1 Second term is October 1, 2026 - April 30, 2027 All bids will be considered even if you do not submit an Add Alternate #1 bid. Bid must be accompanied by a Bid guaranty which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid. Bid guaranty may be a cashier's check, money order, certified bank check, or a surety bond. All guaranties, except surety bonds, will be deposited and reimbursement checks and surety bonds will be issued to unsuccessful bidders following the bid award. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award. The City of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and to accept that bid which is to be considered to be in the best interest of the City. Any such decision shall be considered final.
