Project Description The work of this contract generally consists of replacement of the existing Hunters Water District water treatment system, electrical and process instrumentation improvements, and repairs to mechanical components on the existing water reservoir. The work also includes a bid alternate for interior inspection and cleaning of the reservoir and main water lines. Approximate project cost is $350,000. This project is funded by the Washington State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program with federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, as administered through the Washington State Department of Commerce, and is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. The Contractor must comply with the requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, 41 USC 8301 note, and all applicable rules and notices, as may be amended. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgment, accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest. Owner also reserves the right to award the Base Bid and Bid Alternates together to a single bidder or separately to different bidders. Owner is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
