Question Deadline 04/24/2025 The bidder shall meet with City Compliance Officer at least three (3) business days prior to Bid Opening. The purpose of this project is to relocate approximately 934 linear feet of 12" PVC C900 force main located between the intersection of Kimber Lane and the Lloyd Expressway and Burkhardt Road and the Lloyd Expressway. The project also includes the replacement of approximately 89 LF of 20" with 8" C900 PVC, the installation of 1 (one) 72" Diameter Sanitary Manhole, the replacement of 1 (one) 48" Diameter Sanitary Manhole, 1 (one) air relief valve, 1 (one) air relief manhole, and 2 (two) tracing wire boxes. This project includes all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary to complete the work shown in the Drawings and Specifications. All work must be ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The above referenced project description includes items that are part of the Itemized Base Bid. The Contractor shall be responsible for all work shown on the plans and described in the specifications pertaining to the Itemized Base Bid, regardless of the installation method chosen. The Evansville Water and Sewer Utility further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest and most responsible bidder (or bidders), all to the advantage of the Evansville Water and Sewer Utility, or to reject all Proposals.
