Site work and new construction of a library in San Diego, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a library; and for site work for a library.
The Ocean Beach Library Expansion will include demolition of the adjacent building, remodel the existing 5,100 sf library, and construct a new 4,000 sf extension to the library. The new extension will create space for a community meeting room, study rooms, office space, teen room, outdoor gathering area, and restrooms. The addition to the Ocean Beach Library will consist of a new community room, restrooms, courtyard, as well as additional parking and an interior remodel of the existing historic library. The City of San Diego (City) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for Design-Build services for the OCEAN BEACH BRANCH LIBRARY (Project). This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is the first step in the City of San Diego's (City) procurement process for the selection of a qualified Design-Builder for the Project. The City will not reimburse Design-Builders for costs incurred in the preparation, submittal and participation in the RFQ process.
