Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Altoona, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a 123,000-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project is a new 123,000 square foot public services facility comprised of large vehicle parking, maintenance bays, shop areas, and an office wing that includes private offices, open office areas, locker rooms, and a break room. The building is constructed with insulated precast panels with a steel framed roof. The vehicle parking, maintenance, and shop areas will be heated with an underfloor heated system; these areas will not be cooled. The office area will be heated and cooled. The building is fully sprinklered. Site improvements include new access roads, parking areas, and accessory buildings RFQ for Bid Package No. 2 is due 2 p.m., May 5, 2025. Bid documents will be released May 7, 2025.
