Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Marissa, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Village of Marissa is soliciting all qualitied and insured contractors capable of performing demolition work. The scope of work is to provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to demolish designated structure as identified by the Village of Marissa as 701 E Lyons (street department shed) in accordance with the specifications and Marissa ordinances. Including but not limited to, removal of debris and grading. Bids are binding for 60 days from the date bids are opened. All work must be complet-ed by May28th. All bids must comply with the laws of the State of Illinois and Village ordinances. The Village of Marissa reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any technicalities or informalities, and award bids in the best interest of the Village of Marissa. The Village of Marissa shall award bids without regards to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, or handicapping condition. Any award of bid for demolition pursuant to this notice shall be subject to the right of the Village of Marissa to void the awarded contract for work upon a challenge to the ight of the Village of Marissa to demolish said property by the owner or any interested arty pursuant to law.
