Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bullhead City, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
The Project scope of work includes grading and drainage improvements along the Northwest and Westside RSA extending out to the Airport perimeter fence. The total Project area is approximately 238,000 square yards. Specific Project features include: _ Using on-site soils to construct embankments within the RSA and ROFA; _ Grading areas within the RSA and ROFA to fix nonstandard grades and erosion; _ Grading to channelize and collect runoff at the top of the RSA slope and direct it toward controlled downslope conveyances; _ Extension of the concrete swale outside the RSA limit towards the northwest end of the runway; _ Construction of two detention basins to attenuate flows prior to discharge downstream; _ Construction of storm drain pipe and grouted riprap basin overflow weirs; _ Construction of unlined and grouted riprap lined ditches and splash pads; _ Stabilization of fine-grained soils at critical areas; _ Installation of temporary and post-construction Best Management Practices (BMPs).
