The project involves construe- tion of a new roundabout at the intersection of Smith Valley Road and Woodmen Boulevard, in- stallation of storm sewer infrastructure and the ad- dition of lighting and new crosswalks. All contractor questions can be submitted in writing via email to Andrew Wolf at awolf@crossroadengineers.com. Bids will be taken under advisement for an award at a later date. Contract for the proj- ect may be awarded at the Board of Public Works and Safety Meeting at 5:30 P.M. on May 5, 2025. For the project being bid upon, bids are to be submitted on a fully com- pleted Indiana Form #96 (Revised 2013). The bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or accepta- ble bid bond, in a sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total base bid amount. Bids shall be in sealed envelopes marked with the name and place of business of the bidder and marked "Smith Valley and Woodmen Rounda- bout". A performance bond equal to the contract price and a payment bond to in- sure the payment of any subcontractors, contract laborers, material suppli- ers and persons furnishing services will be required upon award of contract. No bid shall be with- drawn after scheduled closing time for receipts of bids for at least sixty (60) days. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept all or any part of any bid received, to waive any and all informal- ities in bidding.
