Dutchman Creek Park located at 4750 Fish Factory Road, Southport, NC 28461 and Cedar Grove Park located at 700 Grove Trail SW, Supply, NC 28462 are established parks within the Brunswick County Parks and Recreation system. Pursuant to N.C.G.S. _ 143-129, Brunswick County is soliciting bids to add a new picnic pavilion adjacent to the playground structures at each park. Each picnic pavilion must meet or exceed the minimum specifications set forth below. Any changes to the specifications herein will be made in the form of an Addendum to this Invitation to Bid and will be supplied to all known prospective bidders and posted on the Brunswick County website. Notwithstanding the foregoing, bidders will be responsible for ensuring that they have all addenda. Brunswick County may negotiate and refine final specifications with the selected bidder. Picnic Pavilions Minimum Specifications Description: A medium-sized metal picnic shelter to hold a capacity of approximately 15 to 30 people. Metal picnic shelter. Standard rectangular with Gable or vaulted roof. Expected dimensions in the range of 20' x 24'. Poured on-site 4" thick concrete pad. The concrete pad dimensions shall extend 1' beyond the roof overhang. Installation of shelter and concrete to grade. Detailed product specifications and warranty information - with color photos. Anticipated project timeline for completion of work from Notice to Proceed. Minor grading as necessary to maintain positive drainage. Contractor shall be responsible for all permitting and inspections.
