Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide Advanced Cleaning, Advanced Inspection, and Repair for Structural Fire Fighting Protective Ensembles according to NFPA's 1851 Standard on Selection, Care, and Maintenance of Protective Ensembles for Structural Fire Fighting and Proximity to Fire Fighting (2014 edition or newer). Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Advanced Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair of Structural Firefighting Protective Ensembles (SFPE), as described herein: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to perform Advanced Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair (if needed) of Structural Firefighting Protective Ensembles Elements according to NFPA's 1851 Standard on Selection, Care, and Maintenance of Protective Ensembles for Structural Firefighting and Proximity to Firefighting (2014 edition or newer). This Agreement will commence on May 01, 2025 (estimate) or upon approval by the California Department of General Services (DGS), whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by DGS. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. This Agreement shall expire on April 30, 2028 (estimate). The services shall be provided during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law. Question Deadline 04/17/2025 Potential Bidders may submit written questions regarding the bid. All questions should be emailed in writing to Derek Fergason at Derek.Fergason@fire.ca.gov. NO QUESTIONS will be entertained. Written questions must include: the individual's name, firm name, complete address and must reference IFB No. 2CA07336. Written responses to all questions will be collectively compiled and posted, as an Addendum online. The awarding agency reserves the right to reject all bids. The agency is not required to award an agreement.
