STATEMENT OF WORK SUMMARY: Contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and professional supervision to perform work described in the Statement of Work (SOW), Specification & Drawings, for the Construction of Columbarium H, I, J, K, L, M, Repairs & Improvements Project, located at the Calverton National Cemetery, NK. County of Suffolk, NY Calverton Nalt Cem | The Department of Veterans Affairs, Natl Cem Adm. (NCA), anticipates Awarding a Firm, Fixed Price Contract; In Accordance With FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding; for the Calverton Natl Cem, under Project No. 805CM3048. The Construction Contractor shall provide labor, material, tools, equipment, and professional supervision required for the construction of Columbarium H, I, J, K, L, M Repairs & Improvements; In Accordance With the Solicitation Plans, Statemen of Work, Drawings, Specs and Construction Documents for this Said Project, located at Calverton National Cemetery, NY. This is a 100% competitive Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) In Accordance With (IAW) the Veterans First Program, 38 USC 8127 and 8128. Only SDVOSB firms verified eligible in Vetbiz.gov, with the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) Seal on their registration will be considered. The Vetbiz database will be checked both upon receipt of an BID and prior to Award. WILL NOT Be Accepted. 2.) The Period of Performance is One Hundred and Eighty (180) Calendar Days after issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP). 3.) IAW VAAR 836.204(f)(1); THE MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION IS BETWEEN $2,000,000.00 AND $5,000,000.00 4.) C78625B0029 Mobilization: Coordinate construction access, entrance to site, construction routes, and areas designated for equipment, materials, and contractor staff parking with VA Project Manager/COR and Cemetery Director. Provide temporary signage for directions too and designation of these areas. Temporary VA NCA construction and safety signs must also be installed at or near the construction site. Temporary erosion and storm water control: Provide and install sediment traps and barriers, basin traps, sediment fences, outlet protection, runoff control, runoff conveyance, storm drains, slope drains, etc. as required to mitigate erosion, and control storm water, where required on and near construction areas. Comply with all applicable codes. Site preparation: Provide protective measures for trees and landscape elements to remain. . Paving and hardscape: Repair/replace roads, curbs, hardscape as shown on construction documents. . Landscaping: provide and install planting, final surface stabilization, soils, trees, permanent seeding, mulching, and sodding per construction documents. . Project delivery and close-out: Coordinate inspections with Government stakeholders well in advance of substantial completion of the project. Include time in the Construction schedule to address and close out all open punch list items. . De-Mobilization: Remove all temporary structures, materials, and equipment from job site and restore disturbed areas of site to original condition or better. . Final preparation and cleaning for delivery: Remove dirt and debris from all areas of new work, groom site for final acceptance and delivery.
