Renovation of a mixed-use development in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Fire Alarm, Call for Aid and CCTV Improvements at George B. Lewis 1 and 2. A satisfactory Bid Guarantee (Over $25K ONLY) in an amount equal to a minimum of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid shall be submitted with each bid. If the Bid Guarantee is in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Naugatuck Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder and Acceptable Sureties. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Performance and Payment Bond (Over $100K ONLY), in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount, or a 20% cash escrow or a 25% irrevocable letter of credit, in the form included in the Project Specifications. Surety companies providing performance and payment bond(s) must be licensed to do business in Connecticut and be approved as sureties on Government contracts pursuant to U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570, published annually in the Federal Register. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the openings of bids without the consent of the NHA, The NHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. All bid forms must be fully completed when submitted.
